    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    This serum is ideal for all skin types, especially sensitive, sensitized, breakout-prone skin. Skin sensitized to Vitamin C find that tolerance levels improve upon gradual introduction. Next generation derivatives are stable, yet deliver Vitamin C in its active form, l-ascorbic acid. The presence of l-ascorbic acid allows optimal collagen production, and provides antioxidant protection and skin brightening effects. Glutathione and alpha-lipoic acid protect mitochondria, increasing age-delay benefits. The serum is essential oil and microcidal preservative-free, making it safe for even the most allergy-prone, sensitive skin, and can be used day and night.

    This dual purpose serum protects by day and repairs at night, and is safe for use by all skin types. A good alternative to Retinol for pregnant women.

    Benefits

    Anti-aging by promoting collagen production to reduce formation of wrinkles. Other effects are reduction of hyperpigmentation and age spots, protecting mitochondrial degradation.

    Recommended use

      This is the only serum I’ve used that leaves my skin feeling hydrated. Love it with the barrier lupus complex!

      The only C I can use

      I’ve tried different C serums including skinceuticals and this C therapy is the only one my skin doesn’t react to. I haven’t used it long enough to see any major difference to my skin but I know it’s good for my skin so will keep using.

      Gentle and effective

      After using a whole bottle of the vitamin c serum, I can say the overall brightness and texture of my skin has obviously improved. I use it every morning after applying the Barrier Restore serum. Once or twice a week I also use a red light device in my face, and in the past 16 weeks my face truly has improved for the better. It’s more effective than any vitamin c serum I’ve used! This and the barrier restore will be staples for as long as I can purchase them.
