    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    Microbiome-friendly + essential oil-free, this cleanser effectively removes debris, sunscreen and makeup without stripping the skin of its protective oils.

    It reconceptualizes the meaning of deep cleansing. Rather than scrubbing at the surface, which merely dries the skin, it uses Omega-6 rich oils to penetrate to the origin of congestion, deep within the follicle. Utilizing the principle of “oils dissolve oils,” oil-based cleansers are the gentlest and most effective way to clean skin deeply and thoroughly. Low-suds surfactants are capable of effectively removing surface grime, debris and makeup, without robbing the skin of its surface protective oils. It supports proper barrier function by protecting the lipid barrier with antioxidants that inhibit lipid peroxidation, while the pre/ probiotic complex maintains microfloral balance.

    This cleanser is free of ingredients that could impede the skin’s ability to maintain its own lipid, essential fatty acid and microbial balances. Biomimetic in design, it contains no essential oils, microcidal preservatives, or ethoxylated compounds.

    OMEGA-6 OILS Safflower + sunflower oil decongest pores where congestion starts in the follicle. Breaks up deposits by thinning sebum, allowing oils to flow to the surface where they lubricate skin.

    DECYL GLUCOSIDE a mild non-sudsing cleaning agent deep cleans without stripping skin of oils.

    PRE+PROBIOTIC COMPLEX Blend of commensal microbes found on the skin + prebiotics which nourish them. Supports and maintains the health of the skin microbiome.

    SUPER OXIDE DISMUTASE Powerful antioxidant that protects against damage to skin cells’ lipid barrier.

    Recommended use

    Shake well. Dispense one pump and warm between palms. Using first three fingers, draw small circles over face/neck/chest for 1-2 minutes, adding water to create slip. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.

      Obsessed

      MV has seriously changed my skins life!!! I can’t get enough of it. This is by far hands down best cleanser ever even better paired up with the amazing serums and oils they offer! As a man I was a lil skeptical but I haven’t seen the bags under my eyes disappear in 20+ years!

      Not for me

      I don't notice any difference between using this product, and my old cleanser. I do appreciate that it doesn't have essential oils, which can be hard to find in natural beauty products. It mostly contains seed oils, but I still find my skin to be dry after using it. Wont buy again, but I am still interested in trying their other products.

      The best

      Hands down the best — I’ve never used an oil-to-cream cleanser that I didn’t have to wash off with a washrag, and that’s been very helpful in repairing my skin barrier without introducing bacteria. Very effective at cleansing, gentle, and doesn’t leave any icky residue.

      Never have I ever used a cleanser that changed my skin!

      This glorious cleanser is everything you need.

      Removes makeup, deep cleans the skin, no fragrance or essential oils, milks up nicely with water, rinses clean. Skin feels so beautifully hydrated after, no stripping of the skin.

      I only wish there was an Australian stockist as it's quite pricey getting it delivered to Australia!

      I have used this Marie Veronique Oil cleanser before and always keep coming back to it when my skin issues arise. The best cleanser I have ever used. I would use it all the time, if I could purchase in my local country.
