    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    Restore skin's natural MICROFLORAL BALANCE and brighten with ENZYMES.

    An exceptional multitasker, this mask acts as a gentle exfoliant, provides intense hydration, and brightens skin tone, all without compromising microbial balance. Leaves skin smooth, supple and glowing.

    Does not contain glycolic acid, thus safe for sensitive skins (including rosacea-prone), skin susceptible to hyperpigmentation, Asian and dark skins.

    Ingredients

    LACTIC ACID (think Cleopatra's milk baths) is an alpha-hydroxy acid safe for all skin types, including skin prone to hyperpigmentation.

    SODIUM SALICYLATE is an anti-inflammatory that moderates effect of lactic acid.

    ENZYMES Lemon bioferment enzymes dissolve dead skin cells loosened by lactic acid, and potato flour contains the enzyme catecholase for skin lightening.

    SHEA BUTTER and COCONUT FLOUR return emolliency to the skin.

    PROBIOTIC CULTURES help restore the natural balance of skin's microbiota.

    ALL INGREDIENTS

    Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Infusion, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Nut Butter, Lactobacillus/Lemon Peel Ferment Extract, Sodium Salicylate, Xanthan Gum, Potato Flour, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Flour, Lactic Acid Extract, Probiotics, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Oil*, Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Oil*, Pelargonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium) Oil*

    *Essential oil

    Active ingredient: 5% lactic acid

    Recommended use

    Use 1-2 times a week. Using a clean spatula, take 1 tsp into palms and massage into cleansed face/neck/chest until mostly absorbed. Avoid eye contour area. Leave on 3-5 minutes. Rinse. Daily sunscreen recommended. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.

      Love it!

      This is the most gentle yet effective mask on the market. As we age our skin cells don’t turnover as quickly resulting in uneven texture. This mask will make your face glow while also allowing serums and creams to optimally penetrate for even more beautiful skin

      Gentle but effective

      This mask is great for my sensitive skin. I make sure I only leave it on for 5 minutes and I notice that my skin glows for several days after which makes me feel good as my skin (at 60 years) is starting to look a bit dull.

      Lovely product that I’ll keep using about twice a week. This is my 4th jar

      Once a week treat

      I use this once or twice a week, especially if I have a breakout. Put it on, watch a movie, wash it off, done! So easy. My skin is bright and smooth after. So much better than a harsh scrub! Eww. No. Thanks MV!
