    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    Multiple oils penetrate to dissolve congestion and deep clean, without harming or drying skin. Contains Superoxide dismutase (SOD), an enzyme that destroys special free radicals responsible for assaulting cell membranes.

    Benefits

    Deep cleans and decongests pores while maintaining lipid barrier integrity.

    Hydrates and rejuvenates skin as it gently cleans away makeup and sunscreen.

    Increased concentration of SOD in connective tissue delays aging because it helps maintain dermal integrity.

    Ingredients

    SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE (SOD) protects against aging by reducing damage done by special free radicals that attack lipid membranes.

    SAFFLOWER OIL decongests pores with Omega 6 EFAs.

    SUNFLOWER OIL thins sticky sebum deposits contributing to blemish formation.

    APRICOT KERNEL OIL high in Vitamin A and E improves barrier function by supplying nutrients needed by the stratum corneum.

    DECYL GLUCOSIDE  a mild non-sudsing cleaning agent deep cleans without stripping skin of oils.

    Recommended use

    Shake well. Dispense one pump and warm between palms. Using first three fingers, draw small circles over face/neck/chest for 1-2 minutes, adding water to create slip. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.

      Cleansing and hydrating

      This cleanser is wonderful. I will use it forever! I only wish it came in a bottle that was easy to close if traveling. Perhaps an eye dropper applicator instead of a pump? It would be much easier to close that way in order to pack.

      Slipping into something more comfortable

      I am hooked on this magical cleanser. Sometimes, during a stressful day, I find myself thinking about washing my face before bed. It calms me down just thinking about it. It is a very soothing sensory ritual. Massaging in the oil feels warming and then adding a little water to transform into a cooling silky rinse. My skin feels so comfortable after using. It is excellent. Thank you!
