    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    This serum is ideal for all skin types, especially sensitive, sensitized, breakout-prone skin. Skin sensitized to Vitamin C find that tolerance levels improve upon gradual introduction. Next generation derivatives are stable, yet deliver Vitamin C in its active form, l-ascorbic acid. The presence of l-ascorbic acid allows optimal collagen production, and provides antioxidant protection and skin brightening effects. Glutathione and alpha-lipoic acid protect mitochondria, increasing age-delay benefits. The serum is essential oil and microcidal preservative-free, making it safe for even the most allergy-prone, sensitive skin, and can be used day and night.

    This dual purpose serum protects by day and repairs at night, and is safe for use by all skin types. A good alternative to Retinol for pregnant women.

    Benefits

    Anti-aging by promoting collagen production to reduce formation of wrinkles. Other effects are reduction of hyperpigmentation and age spots, protecting mitochondrial degradation.

    Reducing frequency and severity of breakouts by clearing congested pores.

    Antioxidant and sun protection. Dermatologists recommend using a Vitamin C serum in addition to sunscreen for comprehensive UV protection.

    SODIUM ASCORBYL PHOSPHATE prevents oxidation of debris in congested pores to clear and prevent breakouts.

    GLYCERYL ASCORBATE  moisturizes to improve barrier function, provides sun protection, brightens skin.

    MAGNESIUM ASCORBYL PHOSPHATE and TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE provide anti-aging effects like collagen production enhancement and impede hyperpigmentation processes.

    ALPHA-LIPOIC ACID and GLUTATHIONE powerful antioxidants to help prevent damage to mitochondrial DNA.

    Recommended use

      It's pretty good, no complaints. I have tired tons of vit. C brands and his formula is nice, the smell is pleasant and the texture is light and layer able.
