The skin is directly affected by the use of topical applications. Lipid-soluble molecules pass through the epidermis and may also penetrate the dermis. Thus topical applications can be considered a very efficient, targeted method for delivering nutrients to the skin, especially to the epidermis.

This mask is formulated with ingredients based on their ability to support various processes crucial to the maintenance of skin health and the delay of skin aging, specifically; antioxidant protection, barrier function, glycation and DNA methylation. Recommended use

After cleansing, before AM/PM regimen, using a clean spatula, remove 1 tsp into clean hands. Spread a thick layer over entire face and neck, massaging it in evenly for a few minutes. Use 1-3 x week, leave on 20-30 min, or overnight for intensive treatment. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.

Comfortable and effective
Got a small sample of this mask in a starter kit—the first time I tried this mask it was pleasant enough to have on my face but I didn’t notice much of anything and sort of set it aside. Picked it back up when my skin was struggling to retain water even in the muggy summer and inflammatory stuff like cystic acne was flaring up and it was soooo helping at calming things down and actually let me wake up with hydrated skin and less red and painful acne. The texture is really nice and the color is quite sheer aside from the little speck and it absorbs well and doesn’t stay sticky, so it’s easy to leave it on all night without mess or feeling self conscious about it. Some reviewers have complained about the scent and maybe it’s just my sample but I didn’t notice it much!

Immensely Hydrating
I am so grateful for Marie Veronique and Kristina Holey. A match made in heaven. This mask is like no other. Most masks I've tried in the past 'clarify the skin' by drying it out. This one made my skin glow by nourishing it... my skin feels so supple and soft after I use it I can't stop touching my face. The texture of it is so immediately soothing. Not like those tightening clay ones.
I read the other reviews complaining about the smell and I would rather smell the active necessary ingredients than useless irritating/ carcinogenic synthetic fragrances. Also, I happen to love the smell of the whole fragrance free gold KH line. Maybe because I have been using it for so long now that I just associate it with the positive results I see when I use it.

Glowing
This mask is great! Yes it smells like beef jerky, but the way it makes my skin look and feel it’s no biggie. Skin is smooth, soft and glowing. I have reactive rosacea prone skin. Plus if you’ve been burned by “fragrances” in skin products you understand that this does not contain fake fragrances and it’s better for your health.

Worked wonders for me
I do not use this product regularly, but when I have I can say that it really worked wonders. My face was glowing, fully hydrated, and refreshed. I found it to be one of the best masks I have ever tried. A notable difference when I woke up in the a.m. Surprised that others did not feel it was effective.
