    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    Recommended Alternative: GENTLE RETINOL NIGHT SERUM — It is the exact same product as Treatment Retinol Serum, only the labels are different. We did this because we wanted to accentuate the fact that retinol is one of the most effective products when it comes to age-delay AND treating acne and breakouts.  

    Specifically, retinol helps regulate cellular turnover rates which can result in a reduction of clogged pores and surfacing of new, healthy skin cells. It also helps to balance oil production which is essential for hormonal-driven (teenage) breakouts. It can result in decreased inflammation which positively impacts the healing process and the redness associated with breakouts. Lastly, retinol is excellent at supporting a reduction of hyperpigmentation and the appearance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, a common occurrence with breakouts.

    Recommended use

    Use PM only. Shake well. Smooth 1-2 pumps onto face/neck/chest. Daily sunscreen recommended. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician.       Unfortunately, this did not work for me

      I had high hopes for this product, but it caused me to purge/break out and I wasn't willing to wait out that process.
