    ABOUT MARIE VERONIQUE

    Marie-Veronique Nadeau is a chemist who founded Marie Veronique in 2002. An inventor at heart who suffered from teenage acne, she was moved to create her own products when she could find nothing on the market that was clean and effective to address her rosacea. From there, she went on to develop a line for acne and was one of the first to formulate a non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen. She continues to lead the way towards safe yet effective skincare, determined to move an industry ensconced in hype into the realm of science. She is a trained esthetician, holds degrees in Math and Science, and is a former high school chemistry teacher. She collaborates with her daughter, Jay Nadeau, physicist and bio-medical engineer, to carefully choose each ingredient in her products to solve real skin issues and address the causes of aging at the source.

    Recommended use

    Pair our Pure + E.O. Free Oil Cleanser or any of our cleansers with the Cleansing Coins to effectively remove excess cleanser and prepare skin for the application of tonics/mists and serums.

    Soak a Cleansing Coin in Balancing HypoTonic and drape over face, pressing it in, for a deeply hydrating treatment.

    Directions

    Moisten coin, unroll cloth, and sweep away cleanser, dirt and grime. 

    To remove excess cleanser, moisten a coin with water, unroll into a cloth, and sweep the damp cloth over your face, rinsing as needed.

    For a deeper cleanse, drape a moistened coin turned cloth over your fingers and massage your face in circular motions. 

    To remove makeup soak a Cleansing Coin in your formula of choice, unroll into a cloth, and sweep the cloth over your face, rinsing as needed.

    The Skinsheet's products are made from 100% cotton cellulose, a highly biodegradable fiber that is naturally derived from cotton. Cotton linter is usually wasted, but with The Skinsheet products, it is dissolved into cellulose fibers and spun without binders or additives. The Skinsheet’s materials are certified for industrial and home compost, and soil and marine biodegradability.

    Q: Can I use the cleansing coins every day? The Cleansing Coins have a woven texture to thoroughly cleanse, gently exfoliate and remove dirt, grime and makeup, they are gentle enough to use daily.

    Q: Can I use the cleansing coins if I have sensitive skin? Yes! The Cleansing Coins are ideal for sensitive skin. Made from 100% cotton cellulose, they are free from lint and friction, and more gentle than muslins, bamboo cloths and washcloths.

    Q: Are the Cleansing Coins single-use? The Cleansing Coins are intended to be single use, but it ultimately comes down to personal preference. If you do decide to re-use a cloth, make sure to rinse it well and hang to dry to prevent the growth of bacteria.

    Q: How should I dispose of the cleansing coins? The Skinsheet products are made from materials certified for industrial compost, home compost, soil biodegradability and marine biodegradability, so you can dispose of them in your home compost bin or trash can.

    Q: Are the Cleansing Coins recyclable? No, they are not recyclable. They are certified for soil and marine biodegradability, and industrial and home compost. They break down in 1-3 weeks, much faster than cotton pads.
